We provide services associated with physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
A physiotherapist executes a comprehensive assessment and examination of a patient to ascertain his disease or dysfunction. Following that, he prepares a plan for treating the patient in the best possible manner and implements it.
In the severe cases of pain, joint stiffness or muscular weakness, post surgeries, bladder or bowel problems, numbness, tingling or any other abnormal sensation, you should consult a physiotherapist.
Physiotherapists may employ electrotherapy (electrical modalities to reduce pain, decrease inflammation and promote healing etc.) or manual therapy (Hands on techniques to treat various kinds of dysfunctions). They may also prescribe exercises to increase your strength, endurance, balance and coordination.
The first session can last from forty-five minutes to an hour, as it requires a thorough examination for accurate diagnosis. The following sessions lasts from thirty to forty-five minutes depending upon your condition.
You should carry your recent and older medical reports (if any) while visiting a physiotherapist. You should also carry the X-rays or MRI films if relevant in your case.
